A clinic/surgery center is seeking an ophthalmologist for locum tenens coverage starting ASAP. They currently have one full-time ophthalmologist with another part-time ophthalmologist retiring this year.
The facility is located in central Maryland, just a short driving distance to Washington D.C.
The facility would like someone who can offer Monday-Wednesday weekly ongoing, or two weeks on two weeks off ongoing. Hours are 9 am-5 pm and call would be 1:2 for the clinic/surgery center (no hospital call involved). The surgeon would do mostly laser procedures (SLT, LPI), in addition to Glaucoma and Cataract Surgery. Glaucoma fellowship and an active Maryland license or IMLC are preferred.
