Clinical:
-- General ophthalmologist to teach and supervise residents, medical students, and junior members of the medical staff in diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye diseases and conditions in hospital-based outpatient clinic setting.
-- Option to add panel for specialty eye clinics (based on individual specialty, training, and experience).
-- Rotating weekly on-call schedule to be shared amongst all clinic providers

Surgical:
-- Comfortable performing, teaching, and supervising cataract and pterygium surgeries.
-- Comfortable performing, teaching, and supervising anterior segment lasers.
-- Additional specialty surgeries optional (based on individual specialty, training, and experience).

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • ABMS BC/BE in Ophthalmology
  • NYS license in good standing
  • Experience in surgical ophthalmology
  • Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
