Seeking a radiation oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor Level. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a recently established and progressive academic department, which now includes a satellite facility in Fairmont, WV. Successful candidates will have an MD, MD/PhD or DO degree (the employer accepts foreign educational equivalent) and be eligible to obtain an unrestricted West Virginia medical license. Candidates must have completed an accredited radiation oncology residency program, be board certified/board eligible in radiation oncology and possess a commitment to teaching, scholarship and service.
The department provides a full range of radiation oncology services including IMRT, SBRT, IGRT, 3D conformal radiotherapy, rapid arc, respiratory gating, HDR brachytherapy, gamma knife radiosurgery, and breast IORT. Equipment includes a Varian Trilogy linear accelerator, Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator, Varian Clinac iX linear accelerator, Leksell Gamma Knife Perfexion™, Varian VariSource iX HDR Afterloader, Mammosite Radiation Therapy System, Zeiss INTRABEAM® System, Toshiba CT/Simulator, Eclipse RTP system, and Varian ARIA record/verification and EMR. The department is an ACR accredited radiation oncology facility and participates in multiple clinical trials, including those offered by the RTOG/NRG.
