The Department of Surgery at Westchester Medical Center is seeking an academic surgeon at the Associate or Professor Level to lead the Surgical Oncology program for the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). Qualified candidates will provide a comprehensive array of Surgical Oncology services to the patients of WMCHealth and our affiliated hospitals.


The successful candidate will be board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Oncology and have 5-10 years of progressive academic leadership experience. They will be expected to participate in developing consistent protocols and providing clinical leadership across our multi-hospital system. Additionally, they will be at an integral part of the growth and success of our new comprehensive system wide Cancer Program. Westchester Medical Center, a 600-bed hospital serving as the primary teaching affiliate for New York Medical College with state of the art pathology, diagnostic and imaging at all of our facilities. Participation in teaching activities with medical students, residents, fellows and other medical staff members as well as scholarly contributions and collaborative research are expected.
