**Medical Breast Oncology opening - Burlington, MA** Located 16m to Boston H1b Eligible *The physician will be a regional expert in breast cancer as part of Medical Group's Cancer Institute as well as close affiliations with St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire and Parkland Medical Center in Derry, New Hampshire.* **Position Details** - Full-time, permanent - Primarily focused on the care of breast cancer patients with potential opportunity for additional disease based specialization. - The position offers excellent administrative and nurse navigation support - Infrequent night and weekend call expectations - Candidate will be a part of the Divisions Hematology/Oncology Faculty participating in training of medical students from Tufts University School of Medicine, fellows from Tufts Medical Center, and a core faculty member of a new hematology-oncology fellowship program. - Total new analytic cancer cases exceed 5,000 annually. - Health Group maintains a large clinical research program and is a main member in SWOG and NRG. - The Division of Hematology/Oncology is affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine, with an opportunity for an academic appointment commensurate with level of achievement. - Excellent benefits package. **About the Medical Center** - 317-bed tertiary care facility, outpatient clinic and Level I trauma center is a physician-led, multi-disciplinary group practice of more than 600 physicians. - Group maintains several accredited residency and fellowship programs. - Medical Center in Peabody, located a short distance from the main campus in Burlington, MA, has a free-standing cancer center. - Both sites offer state of the art infusion, radiation oncology, genetics, specialized outpatient surgical services and in-house next generation sequencing **Additional Details** - World-renowned tertiary medical center known for its innovative technology, pioneering medical treatment and leading-edge research. - A teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine, the hospital provides quality health care in virtually every specialty and subspecialty, from primary care to cancer diagnosis and treatment to kidney and liver transplantation. - It is a national leader in a number of health care areas, including stroke, weight management and lung screenings, among many others. - Also helps to advance medicine through research and the education of tomorrow's health care leaders. **Location** - Located just north of Boston, MA, the area provides excellent school systems, abundant cultural activities in a world class city and convenient access to the mountains and seacoast throughout New England.
