An inpatient health center near the Ann Arbor, Michigan Metropolitan Area is looking to add a Occupational Medicine Physician to their team. Ann Arbor has been consistently praised for being one of the nation’s most livable cities, and the area is famous for its wealth of trees and parks. Ann Arbor is also the home of the University of Michigan, which has multiple college sports teams and hosts numerous cultural events in the community.

Position Overview

• Certification: MD/DO
• Title: Occupational Medicine Physician
• Board Status: BC in EM, OccMed, Preventive Medicine, FM, IM
• Residency/Training: EM, OccMed, Preventive Medicine, FM, IM
• Experience: 5 years’ experience (Years in Residency & Fellowship count as experience)
• License Requirements: Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from any State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
• Setting: Outpatient Setting

Compensation & Logistics

• Position Type: Permanent-W2
• Availability: Full-Time
  • Negative Covid Test no more than 7 days prior to start
• Responsibilities: Performs pre-placement evaluations from a standpoint of prevention of occupational injuries and illnesses including the detection of pre-existing conditions that might be aggravated by a particular assignment and to determine whether the individual is physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of performing a particular job or assignment with an acceptable degree of efficiency and without endangering their own health and safety or that of their fellow employees.
• Scheduling: As Soon As Possible
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday
  • 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM (Work eight hours per day with a one-hour lunch break)
