Altru Health System is an integrated healthcare system of more than 200 physicians representing 44 specialties located in 10 communities serving a population of 225,000 in northeastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota. Practice in Grand Forks, ND, a community of 65,000 located on the North Dakota/Minnesota border.
Join a well established practice with opportunities for growth. Work with a supportive staff in a patient focused practice with easy access to specialty care. Responsibilities include:
• Work Injury Management
• Specialty Physical Examinations
• Employee Health oversight
• Work 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with No Call required
• Patient focused practice
• Willingness and ability to work with teams including occupational therapy, physical therapy and hand therapy, medical case managers both in house and from other organizations
o There are currently 4 case managers within department.
• Return to work case management
• Ergonomic analysis
• DOT examinations
The University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences located in Grand Forks. Offers opportunities to teach medical students and residents on rotation with additional teaching exposure opportunities on campus. Altru has a Family Medicine Residency program and UND has a Surgical Residency program.
