At Lehigh Valley Health Network, you have the opportunity to make an essential impact on the lives of your patients! We are seeking an enthusiastic BC/BE Occupational Medicine physician who has great clinical and interpersonal skills to join our team as Chief of Occupational Medicine!
Practice Overview:
Responsibilities will include clinical activities with a blend of administrative activities. Clinical duties include providing network Occupational Medicine services through Employee Health, clinic injury and illness care, MRO services, advising on wellness activities, and DOT, pre-placement employment, surveillance, and Fit for Duty exams. Additional expectations include:
- Oversight of 10 Occupational Medicine physicians and 7 advanced practice clinicians across the network
- Responsibility for the division’s clinical operations, quality improvement, research and educational mission
- Interaction with corporate and government entities for medical support
- See patients in Allentown, Bethlehem, and Trexlertown
- Academic appointment is available through the Morsani School of Medicine at the University of South Florida
- No holidays or on-call responsibility
Job Qualifications:
- A network champion for Occupational Medicine and a passion for the clinical work
- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Must possess DOT medical examiner certification and Medical Review Officer certification or obtain within the first 6 months of employment
- A valid PA Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
