Overview:
Infirmary Therapy Services has an exciting, new opportunity for an Occupational Therapist. We have an immediate opening for an OT to perform therapy in a variety of settings including acute care, swing bed, outpatient adults and pediatrics setting. This position is full time and based on the needs of the environments could be 32 hours up to 40 hours a week. Candidates will work closely with other disciplines to establish and implement a plan of care specific to their patients and their individual needs. This position would be an excellent opportunity for an experienced therapist or a new graduate. This position will work Monday through Friday with a weekend rotation. Alabama licensure and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS required.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited therapy program
State license required
CPR certification
Responsibilities:
Performs evaluations, plans and implements therapy treatment programs to provide optimal patient rehabilitation and ensure quality of care.
