**Occupational Medicine opening in Oregon** * Located in Medford, OR - Ashland 20m * Full-time, permanent position * 100% outpatient, no call * Seeking BC in either Family Medicine, Urgent Care, or Occupational Medicine * New Grads welcome * Competitive compensation * Years 2 and beyond: Base salary adjusted consistent with MGMA benchmarks plus performance incentives of up to 16% of base * $50k Sign-on * $15,000 relocation assistance * $5,000 annual CME allowance * 30 days of paid time off per year * Excellent health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits This person will act as a liaison for the community, supporting and advocating for the importance of safe practices and healthy choices in the workplace. They will also act as a Medical Review Officer for the clinic's drug screening program, and shall work with both Asante Occupational Health clinics in Medford and Grants Pass, Oregon. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of treating Worker's Compensation claims, and a strong ability to balance the needs of the patients, the employers, and the insurance carriers. Education: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Occupational Health. License / Certification: MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified from American Heart Association; Preferred Board Certified / Eligible in Occupational and Environmental Medicine by ACOEM. Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification is required. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
