Medical Doctor Associate MDA has an opportunity for the BC Occupational Medicine physician to work in Newark, NJ.
Date; Saturday September 1 - 2, 7am - 5pm This position is providing general primary care and acute care for any workplace accidents. Disease management, minor injuries, well checks and work physicals. No blood draws require by physician. This is More occhealth at United, handling minor injuries, some primary care. Walk ins on weekends, no appointments. Minor laceration repairs, bumps/bruises, anything serious sent to ER, colds/flu/stomach bug. Xray onsite but no tech on weekends so Any xrays sent to UC if on weekend after evaluation. Some formularies onsite – basic meds: Tylenol, naproxen, ibuprofen, antibiotics. Physicians will need to handle Paperwork documentation, employee status form – can they return to work, need to go home, light duty, etc. No EMR onsite, everything is paper. 1 RN 1 MA.
