This well-established Occupational Medicine practice in Macon, GA is seeking a board certified/board eligible Occupational Medicine physician to join a group of seasoned physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physical therapists and licensed and certified staff.

The practice will also consider Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine physicians with at least two years Occupational Medicine experience preferred. Must be licensed and certified by the State of GA. DOT Medical Examiner Certification and MRO Certification preferred.

This is a high-volume practice, perfect for someone who is energetic and motivated. Facility hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm. No weekends and no call!

Physician will participate in business development and work directly with local businesses and industries to help promote safety in the workplace. Ideal candidate will thrive in a productive, cohesive and busy practice focused on patient and employer access, quality and satisfaction.

This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your skills in work related injuries, illnesses, treatment and outcomes. You will conduct workplace visits; provide acute injury care, perform DOT physical exams, perform post-offer and periodic physical exams, complete fitness for duty and return to work exams, oversee respiratory and hearing conservation programs, and be well versed in OSHA compliance.

Computer literacy is a requirement. Must be comfortable and proficient in using the electronic medical record system and communicating electronically. It is essential that the physician be timely in completing medical records.
