Docstar is working with a client of ours that is looking for an OBGYN in Michigan. This will be on-going through 2023.

I hope you’re doing well. I have a client that has this opening in Michigan that is relatively urgent as they do not have any coverage right now. Please let me know if you would be interested/available. If you cannot do all of the dates that should be fine too.

Credentialing Requirements

  • All Medical Schools must be on the California Approved List
  • All Residencies & Fellowships must be ACGME Approved
  • No large malpractice issues
  • Clean NPDB
  • Three professional references that have worked with the provider within 18 months
  • Active MI license and DEA
  • Case/patient logs to show 50 deliveries and 25 GYN procedures within 12 months (if we are close, they will consider reviewing)
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years

  • 97 licensed beds
  • Teaching facility with a family medicine residency training program, medical student clinical rotations, nursing student rotations and state-of-the-art Simulation Center
  • 450-500 deliveries a year

MyMichigan Medical Center Midland

  • 324 licensed beds
  • Operates a 3-year family medicine residency program
  • 700-750 deliveries a year

MyMichigan Medical Center West Branch

  • 86 licensed beds
  • Full continuum of health care services normally found only in much larger communities
  • Updated 17,505 square-foot state-of-the-art Emergency Department
  • 100-150 deliveries a year
