OBGYN opening in IN Located in Fort Wayne Full-time; permanent Seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join our authentically pro-life, independent, growing practice in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We currently have 3 physicians and 4 certified nurse-midwives. We also have an outstanding nurse practitioner who manages a variety postpartum and gynecology visits. We have a large, thriving practice that includes VBAC, robotic surgery, and Creighton Fertility model infertility/recurrent loss, with patients driving several hours for our unique model of care. We operate an active and growing telemedicine service as well. Many of our patients find their way to us out of a desire to achieve a natural, physiologic birth experience. In June of 2019, we opened the first free-standing birth center in our area and it has been a tremendous success. We practice out of one hospital and our main office is located on the campus of that hospital. Physicians and nurse-midwives take call together and the nurse-midwives attend the majority of our births. We would prefer a full-time, full-scope OB/GYN. Training as a medical consultant in the Creighton Fertility model would be a plus, but certainly not required. Participating in the fertility aspect of our practice would be welcomed, but not required. We would entertain non-traditional schedules and/or something less than full-time for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be an authentically pro-life physician who is passionate about practicing in a manner that is consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church, supports and enjoys physiologic birth, and is comfortable working in a collaborative, integrated model with certified nurse-midwives.
