Our Full Time Hospitalist position offers:
- Work/Life Balance
- Flexible Schedule - completed 3 months in advance
- No on-call duty or office management
- 7 24hr. shifts/month with 21 days off/month

A Day in the Life of a Hospitalist:
- Caring for all pregnant women who present emergently, regardless of circumstance
- Caring for unassigned patients
- Evaluating and treating triage patients
- Providing consultation to the ED
- Monitoring labor
- Delivering babies
- Performing surgery and surgical assists
Winchester Medical Center is a non-profit 445-bed regional referral center offering a broad spectrum of services that includes diagnostic, medical, surgical, and rehabilitative care. It is a Level II Trauma Center, and the hospital serves 400,000 residents plus neighboring West Virginia and Maryland. In 2012, the hospital completed a $161 million campus expansion project which expanded emergency services, added intensive care unit beds, and provides an intimate healing environment for families and newborns using the Newborn Intensive Care Unit.
