A private practice in Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Physician with an OB/GYN background for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. This is a traditional OB/GYN role that will provide direct medical care to patients. As an OB/GYN, you will be working in a rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine gynecologic care: well women exams that go beyond the pap smear.
- Contraception counseling: including IUD insertion and removal.
- Preconception counseling and fertility assessments.
- Management and treatment of abnormal pap smears, including colposcopy.
- Management of first-trimester miscarriage and confirmation of pregnancy via transvaginal US.
- Emphasize early detection of ailments, prevention, and all-around wellness
- Serve as the first point of call for all patients
- Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.
- Reviews patient records.
- Focus strongly on quality outcomes and full coordination of care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of approved medical school.
- Board-certified or Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
