A private practice in Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Physician with an OB/GYN background for a promising opportunity with their growing staff. This is a traditional OB/GYN role that will provide direct medical care to patients. As an OB/GYN, you will be working in a rapidly growing environment where you will be relied on for your expertise, professionalism, and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine gynecologic care: well women exams that go beyond the pap smear.
• Contraception counseling: including IUD insertion and removal.
• Preconception counseling and fertility assessments.
• Management and treatment of abnormal pap smears, including colposcopy.
• Management of first-trimester miscarriage and confirmation of pregnancy via transvaginal US.
• Emphasize early detection of ailments, prevention, and all-around wellness
• Serve as the first point of call for all patients
• Obtains complete medical history and physical data on patients.
• Reviews patient records.
• Focus strongly on quality outcomes and full coordination of care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of approved medical school.
• Board-certified or Board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York.
