Welcome to Sampson Regional Medical Center

Forget rush hour traffic! Set in the coastal plains, Clinton has a lot to offer someone looking to further their career while enjoying life at a more casual pace. It is a cozy city that offers small town life with the accessibility of urban amenities.

Our Opportunity:

Sampson Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time OB-GYN to join its existing practice with one other provider. Sampson Women’s Center is located directly beside the main hospital. Call (1:4) expectations will be shared with other OB-GYNs with each physician expected to cover 7 days a month with one weekend required. We seek a skilled and experienced physician who maintains a strong focus and commitment to providing outstanding and compassionate care to all patients.

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package:

  • Highly competitive salary and employee benefits package including vacation/PTO, health insurance, and 403b
  • Relocation allowance, medical loan assistance and/or sign-on bonus options

(Negotiable at time of signing)

  • The option of a FREE or discounted gym membership at The Center for Health + Wellness

Sampson Regional handles an average of 13 major GYN procedures monthly, including laparoscopic procedures. The hospital does not currently offer robotic surgery.

GYN Laparoscopic experience required.

The hospital offers three labor rooms and 14 postpartum rooms, which can be used as overflow labor rooms. Nursery is Level I; critical newborns are transferred west to Fayetteville (30 miles) or southeast to Wilmington (60 miles).
