**OBGYN Opportunity: Watertown, NY**
~ Located 70m to Syracuse, 50m to Canadian border
**Position Details**
- Full-time

- Practice is a group of 3 obstetrician-gynecologists and 2 nurse midwives that have developed an expanding panel of women who have great loyalty to their providers.
- Because of the growth, an additional Ob-Gyn physician is being recruited to join
- The group had 800 deliveries in 2018.
- Obstetrician call is between 1:5 and 1:6.
- There are a total of five Ob-Gyn physicians in the community and there is a very collegial working relationship with the military Ob-Gyn service affiliated with Fort Drum who typically number about four (4) physicians at any given time.
- 24-hour obstetrical anesthesia support is available.
- A Level II Neonatal Nursery is on site with 24-hour board certified neonatology physicians available.
- Obstetrical providers work in a newly designed Labor and Delivery Unit with two dedicated surgical suites.
- Further construction is underway to introduce a new Womens and Childrens area which will have its own hospital entrance and dedicated parking.
- Surgery center has eight (8) operating rooms; a robust robotic program has been developing since 2012.
- Equipment was upgraded to a daVinci Xi with integrated table technology earlier this year.
- The entire obstetrics-gynecology service line is an extremely important component to the patient care

287 bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Northern New York, is seeking providers both for hospital based employment and private practice opportunities. Health Group is just that - the center for healthcare across the counties, cities, towns and villages of New York's North Country. Located in the City of Watertown in Jefferson County, Health Group is the largest provider of healthcare from Burlington, Vermont to Syracuse, New York - a total of 286 miles - catchment of 260,000 - with over 1,200 healthcare professionals. Diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, radiation oncology, neonatal intensive care, a sleep disorders center, and many advanced surgical procedures are only a few examples of the services that set Health Group apart from most hospitals of similar size. Health Group postgraduate osteopathic training program also allows for teaching opportunities for those providers interested.
