**OBGYN Position in West Virginia** Located in ***Logan, WV*** - Charleston, WV 60m **About this Position** * A well-respected, established practice is seeking a ***BC/BE OB/GYN*** to join an outstanding team that is looking for a great work environment with a small-town feel. * This position is with a private practice located in the MOB on the hospital campus. * The position is open due to a physician retirement. * You will be joining a collegial group with one physician and one nurse practitioner. * The ideal candidate must be trained in laparoscopy and have a desire to incorporate gynecology into their practice along with OB. * Medical Center has between 200-250 births annually and the Women's Center is located in the newest wing of the hospital with 3 LDRs, 7 postpartum rooms, and a 9 bed Level I Nursery. * The unit also has dedicated triage rooms and has 24/7 anesthesia coverage for OB. * Center also has Pediatric coverage for emergency c-sections. * The position offers a competitive financial package that includes a ***competitive base salary guarantee, sign-on bonus, relocation, potential student loan repayment, and benefits package.*** Medical Center is a 140-bed acute care facility in Logan, WV that offers a full range of health care services with full time sub-specialists in the community. **About Logan, WV** The city of Logan is alive with special events throughout the year. In the summer with live outdoor dramas such as The Wizard of Oz or The Aracoma Story at the Liz Spurlock Amphitheater located in Chief Logan State Park. The city hosts a Civil War Reenactment each September. During October, the Shawnee Trail Encampment features daily frontier living, exhibits by artisans, craftsmen and Buckskinners portraying characters from the 1780s to the 1800s. During the holiday season, Chief Logan State Park becomes a winter wonderland, with beautiful lights on display as you drive through the park. Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College offers two-year associate degrees, in addition to certificates in more than 20 technical and occupational career fields. High school graduates from nine counties in southern West Virginia and eastern Kentucky attend the college. Camping, fishing, golfing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, tennis, youth soccer leagues, and more - West Virginia has it all. The 4,000-acre Chief Logan State Park, located just four miles north of the city of Logan, is one of the most visited in the state park system. The recreation enthusiast can enjoy 18 miles of hiking trails, a swimming pool with water slide, tennis and miniature golf. Some trails are open for mountain bike enthusiasts.
