Job Description

Last Update: 6/30/20

A well-established group is seeking two OB/GYNs for a rapidly growing private practice. These positions involve all aspects of evaluation and clinical care of patients.

The selected candidate must be board certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN. These positions are full-time and offer highly a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health insurance, 401K with match of 4% after first year, production bonus, generous vacation and one week CME.

These locations lend themselves to living in urban, suburban or rural areas with nationally ranked school systems, excellent shopping and restaurants, as well as access to theatre and sporting events.

The physicians in this practice are members of the medical staff of Advocate Christ Medical Center. This hospital is part of Advocate Health Care, Chicago's largest provider of care and one of the nation's leading integrated health systems. Located in the southwest suburbs, this location offers an appealing mix of urban and suburban amenities and easy access to the Lake Michigan shoreline.

About the practice. We’re recruiting due to growth. There are currently 3 MD’s, 3 APN’s and 2 LCPC’s in the practice. It would be an employed position. We share call with another practice so it would be 1:6 with the new hire. We serve 2 hospitals that are 2 miles apart.

Package includes 401K with match, optional health insurance, yearly bonus based on practice’s profits and competitive salary for our location. Vacation, sick leave, maternity leave, CME time with stipend, etc. We also have a healthy lifestyle stipend which reimburses for 5K’s, Marathons, Personal trainer, Fitbit, Weight loss (if high BMI), smoking cessation (there are no smokers left), etc.

2 physicians live downtown Chicago, one lives in the suburbs, all 3 APN’s live in rural communities, both LCPC’s live in sub-urban areas (technically city but feels like the burbs). My point being you can live in any environment you wish and still have nationally ranked schools, shopping, restaurants, theater, sports, etc.

2018 Grad would actually be preferred, US citizen (may be naturalized), would like a US medical school grad.

We are looking for someone who fits the culture of our practice, we are a bit of an anomaly in today’s environment. A solid knowledge base and Bedside are important but work-life balance is key to success.
