Job Description

Last Update: 8/25/20
A private practice in Iowa is seeking an obstetrics and gynecology physician to join them. They are looking for hard working, self motivated independent thinkers who want to build a practice with excellent standards of care, have leadership skills, and are compassionate about medicine and their patients. They are offering a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday. You will be working at an outpatient clinic seeing 20 to 25 patients per day, and call will be shared. Several procedures are done in the office including hysteroscopy, cystoscopy, essure tubal occlusion, and endometrial ablation. You will be supported by advanced practice providers. Applicants are required to be board certified or board eligible. The practice is seeking an additional physician to support the expanding community. If you do not currently hold a license in IA, CompHealth can assist you with the process. Final-year residents and fellows will be considered.

This employed opportunity has a competitive compensation package with bonuses. You will be offered malpractice coverage, medical benefits, PTO, CME time, a sign-on bonus, life insurance, relocation reimbursement, and a retirement package.

You will enjoy living and working in Iowa. The Quad Cities area of Iowa has been catching a lot of attention lately, some of it below the radar. For instance, two of the four cities won the title 'most livable small city' from the National Council of Mayors. It was ranked by CNN as one of the ten best places to buy a house in the US. It was named 'the most affordable metro' area by Forbes magazine, ranked among the fastest-growing areas in the nation in high-tech jobs, and was honored as the '2012 All American City.'

At CompHealth, we're experts at matching you with your just-right job. Every step of the way, you'll be supported by specialty teams comprised of tenured professionals. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of our providers and the healthcare communities they serve.
