A hospital based in Texas is seeking an OB/GYN physician who can provide locum tenens coverage for approximately five months starting in early June with a possible extension. On a typical day, the locum can expect to see newborns for a variety of cases: 40-70 deliveries per month - provider must be able to do C-sections, performing GYN surgeries are not a must but a big plus. The locum will work 24 hour shifts starting on Friday at 6 p.m. through Monday at 8 a.m. Locum will provide call coverage for one weekend every 4-5 weeks for June and July, then in August the schedule will be either every weekend or 2 to 3 weekend per month. This facility uses CPSI EMR and eClinicalWorks EMR. The client will provide paid EMR training.
