OBGYN Opening in Juneau, AK Three Quarter Time position Juneau, Alaska Seeking BC/BE obstetrician and gynecologist to join an established private practice in the beautiful capital city of Alaska. Looking to job share a 1.5 full-time equivalent (FTE) position which translates to an easy pace consisting of 2 days in clinic and one day in the OR each week with 12 weeks of vacation a year while maintaining a competitive salary. This position is flexible to meet the needs of the physician. Position offers relocation expenses, student loan forgiveness, health insurance, malpractice insurance, 401(K) with employer match. The initial contract will be for 2 years with potential to partner. Ideal position for someone with a young family or who enjoys time to travel and adventure outdoors. Our practice is currently comprised of one board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist and one womens health nurse practitioner. The current volume is approximately 34 gynecology and 1/4 obstetrics with approximately 6-12 deliveries per month. We have in-house ultrasound with a skilled sonographer. Our office is newly remodeled with comfortable exam, procedure, ultrasound and NST rooms. We offer in house sonohysterograms and basic fertility services including IUI. We have 6 great support staff who function well together. We have a cloud-based EHR that is easily accessible anywhere with an internet connection. Hospital info: 45-bed hospital and is owned by the City and Bureau of Juneau. We are actively working to implement a robotics platform in the operating room. The labor and delivery unit has 5 LDRPs, 2 recovery rooms, a dedicated operating room, central fetal heart rate monitoring which is accessible off site for patient monitoring, and a fantastic nursing staff.
