Medical Doctor Associates (MDA) has an opportunity for a Locum Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician in KS.
Board Certified MFM for continuous coverage from January 2nd-January 18th, 2019. This is a consultative only practice. Hours are 8-5, Monday through Friday, with telephone availability call nights and weekends. Average 2 evening phone calls per week, one true emergency that requires going in to the hospital about every 6 months. Our practice does Amnio, CVS, NT, ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, external cephalic version and cerclage. No cordocentesis. No fetal therapy but excellent fetal therapy center in town. When fully booked, our schedule accommodates up to 30 ultrasounds and 4 outpatient consults daily. Generally run about 80 percent capacity. Hospital manages babies down to 27 weeks/ 1000 grams.
