This Birmingham Health System is seeking a Board certified/board eligible OB/GYN to join an existing practice. Job features include the following. Existing group practice with 5 MDs and 1 PA Satellites in Clanton, Gardendale and Trussville (all Birmingham suburbs) 3 year employment agreement pathway to partnership 4 weeks of vacation or CME 401K after one year, pay own medical, dental and vision Need experienced or new grad Prefer full time but will consider part-time 50th Anniversary of practice this year, 13 years at this location Opening because last physician left due to husbands job PA sees OB patients and non-revenue producing activities so physician can see revenue producing patient, assists with surgery and has her own patients, staffs Clanton office Physician will have 2 exam room, I MA and I nurse (usually LPN) Expect physician to see 25 30 patients per day No problems getting surgical time in the OR EMR is Greenway Physician will get ancillary revenue during second and third years In-office procedures: ablation, office hysteroscopies, weight loss program, 3-D mamo, bone density, Nexplanon all IUDs, Mona Lisa Touch vaginal rejuvenation Day starts at 7 a.m., office starts at 8:30 a.m., finished at 5 p.m. Go to satellite office in Trussville, 1 2 days per week and stay all day Call 1 day per week + 1:9 weekends not on call during this week Very congenial group, family oriented, committed to state-of-the-art technology Family-based, faith-based practice This health system is part of the nations largest non-profit health system and the largest Catholic health system in the world, operating 2,500 sites of care including 141 hospitals and more than 30 senior living facilities in 24 states and the District of Columbia.
