This Birmingham Health System is seeking two (2) Board Certified Obstetrics/Gynecology physicians to serve as Laborists. Job features include the following. Private practice physician driven program 130 12-hour shifts per month for full time Hospital employed with our benefits No call 24-hour anesthesia support 3,580 deliveries last year and tracking over 4,000 this year 5 years of OBGYN experience required Supportive collegial OBGYN physicians Outstanding sub-specialty support Hospital-employed Laborist group Rich benefits package from Ascension Excellent back up from very collegial groups of independent physicians This health system is part of the nations largest non-profit health system and the largest Catholic health system in the world, operating 2,500 sites of care including 141 hospitals and more than 30 senior living facilities in 24 states and the District of Columbia.
