Opportunity for BC/BE physician to join the Mercy Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic, located in Mason City, Iowa. This medical team includes 6 Board Certified physicians, 2 ARNP's, and an excellent support staff. Together this team has many years of experience in delivering quality and compassionate care to women of all ages. Services offered include: infertility, prenatal care, high- and low-risk pregnancies, childbirth, da Vinci Robotic Surgery, preventative & therapeutic regiments, 4D & 3D ultrasounds, pelvic exams, pap smears, hysterectomies, and ablations. This hospital-employed position is part of Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa a 346-bed regional referral teaching hospital, recognized nine years as a Thomson-Reuter’s “Top 100 Hospital” nationally for clinical outcomes, effective management and growth.

Our 300+ physician medical staff offers nearly all medical and surgical subspecialties. We are a Level II trauma center, and offer post-graduate education programs on site, including a 3-year Cardiology Fellowship and Internal Medicine and Family Medicine Residency Programs. Our outpatient clinic practice setting is enhanced by close access to inpatients, on site medical imaging, wide range of specialists for consultation, a sleep lab, electronic medical records, PACS and a full service medical library. Our Internal Medicine Hospitalist team manages most admissions originating through the ED.

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
