Job description OB Hospitalist / OB-GYN Nocturnist Longmont, Colorado Employed | Inpatient | Night-Focused Role Medical Group and Women’s Care Clinic seeking an experienced, Board-Certified OB/GYN to provide overnight inpatient obstetric care in a modern, collaborative hospital environment. Candidate Requirements (Screening Checklist) Required Credentials
  • Board Certified OB/GYN
  • Active Colorado medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Experienced OB/GYN (no indication role is open to new graduates)
Visa & Employment Restrictions
  • No visa sponsorship (No J-1 or H-1B)
  • Not accepting Locums candidates
Schedule
  • Nocturnist shifts: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 6–12 shifts per month
  • Shifts may include weekends
  • In-house overnight coverage
  • No additional call requirement
Flexible shift model designed to support work-life balance. Clinical Responsibilities
  • Comprehensive inpatient obstetric care overnight:
    • Labor management
    • Deliveries
    • Postpartum care
    • OB triage
  • Manage acute gynecologic consults
  • Perform urgent OB/GYN assessments and interventions
  • Respond to maternal and fetal emergencies
  • Ensure smooth handoffs to day team
  • Document in Epic EMR
  • Participate in OB safety and quality initiatives
  • Optional mentorship of residents or APPs (if applicable)

    • 8 OB/GYN physicians
