Nocturnist Needed for Yale Affiliated Hospital - Northeastern CT
- See 25 patient per day in a clinical setting or nursing home or home visits
- See 30 per day with a medical scribe, many less for home visit and nursing home
- Salary 180K-$220K with bonus structure averaging $5K-$30K annually
- Bonus is based on productivity, Seeing Adults and Geriatrics in an underserved population
- See patients with Chronic conditions/Disease process is quick with one virtual call with COO and Medical Director
- The night shift is 12 hours and averages 5- 7 admits and there is usually 3 – 5 existing patients that require evaluation
- The Nocturnist responds to rapid response calls (non-arrest) and are in charge
- The Nocturnist responds to cardiac and respiratory arrest and assist the ED physician who is in charge of those codes
- No procedures are required. The Ed physician does intubations and surgeons do central lines
- Open ICU and the hospitalists admit greater than 90% of the ICU patients
- Base Salary w/ RVU bonus
- Coding/quality bonus
