Seeking BC/BE physician to join employed Hospitalist Group just 20 miles from Myrtle Beach and 30 miles from Wilmington. 7 on/off block scheduling. Nocturnist shifts are 7P-7A. Located in Whiteville, the southeastern part of North Carolina in close proximity to the popular beaches of North and South Carolina. Just one hour from Wrightsville Beach and 45 minutes from Ocean Isle, NC. Whiteville is a friendly, southern city with an array of historical homes, friendly in-town neighborhoods, a progressive school system, a variety of shops and restaurants and a healthy economy. Located in the northeastern section of the county, Whiteville enjoys four distinct seasons. It is located less than a one-hour drive from the beaches of North and South Carolina and the bustling university town of Wilmington. Lake Waccamaw, ten miles to the east is a haven for boating, camping and lakeside living. Pine forests and cypress stands, sleepy rivers and coastal plains make Columbus County one of the most beautiful areas in eastern North Carolina.
