Excellent opportunity for a BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine physician for a Nocturnist in Rockford, IL.

• This is a growing team and when fully staffed will be 22 physicians and 8 APPs, plus a Program Manager, Hospitalist Coordinator, and two CPNs
• There are always 2 FT nocturnists working and 1 APP with cross-cover calls is managed by the telemedicine team off-site
• Nocturnists do respond to all Codes and Rapid Responses at night with a code team
• Hospitalists will assist with codes on their own patients and be a part of rapid responses
• No call environment
• Open ICU; Admit into ICU but critical care consult required and they will do all procedures
• No procedures are required
• Flexible block shifts similar to 7 on / 7 off
• Open to internal medicine trained physicians or family medicine trained with strong hospitalist experience or coming from an unopposed residency
