Opportunity Highlights
- ACOM is the first osteopathic medical school in Alabama and the only osteopathic program in the U.S. that is part of a county healthcare authority providing excellent financial and clinical support
- An innovative and interdisciplinary four-year curriculum to teach osteopathic medical students, along with a 10,000-square-foot simulation lab expansion that will further enhance ACOM’s curriculum and provide many opportunities for experiential learning
- Administration, faculty, staff, and students are driven by ACOM’s core values—integrity, service, passion, innovation, respect, excellence, and diversity
- Clinical faculty teach first-year and second-year students in the classroom (including team teaching with basic science faculty) and in clinical skills labs
