Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE General Neurologist in West Monroe, LA. This is an employed, outpatient-only position with the hospital. Current patient base is leaving area, so excellent opportunity for the right incoming candidate to be very busy with no competition in the area. There are Neuro-Hospitalists that work in the hospital. The hospitalists will be sending patients as well as the employed FP/IM providers in the area. Expect to be busy day one!

Medical is the only full-service hospital in West Monroe.


Hospital Highlights:

  • Heart and Vascular Institute – Award-winning heart program including cardiac catheterization, cardiovascular surgery, 64-slice CT imaging, hybrid OR, cardiac rehabilitation, heart disease prevention
  • Cancer Center – Offering IMRT/IMRS, a dedicated oncology nursing unit, stereotactic breast biopsy and brachytherapy services
  • Emergency Medicine – Providing comprehensive emergency care, including a chest pain center for fast track treatment of heart attacks
