NEURO Hospitalist needed in California (45 minutes from downtown San Francisco)
This is a locum tenens position.
Need starts July 1st and will be ongoing. Looking for coverage for two weeks per month (Monday-Sunday). Weeks can be consecutive or split up.
Will round on Neuro patients during the day then be on call the remainder of the day/evening for ED call. 15 minute phone response time for ED calls.
209-bed Hospital. There is one other community Neurologist. Nearest stroke center is 16 miles away.
No EMR system at this time. Paper charting with dictation service. Med Management is electronic.
Average of 5-10 patients t round on each day. Average 1-3 consults per day, usually in the evenings.
Credentialing takes 30-60 days depending on how clean and simple the credentialing file is.
Prefer candidates local to the Bay Area but will pay for travel and lodging if needed.
