Outpatient Neurology Opportunity - Altoona, PA (Safe, Family Friendly, 4-Season Outdoor Recreation)

Description
Join a growing team of neurologists in a financially strong and thriving world-class health system. The UPMC Altoona ARHS Neurology team of 3 neurologists and 3 APPs is recruiting 2 additional neurologists for a full complement of 2 inpatient and 3 outpatient physicians to provide general neurology, neurophysiology, electro-diagnostic medicine, stroke, neuro-ophthalmology services, sleep medicine and Botox migraine treatment services.

About the Position:

  • Primarily an outpatient office practice
  • Each physician sees an average of 25 patients a day
  • Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
  • Office call schedule is currently provided by neuro-hospitalist except during neuro-hospitalist vacation weeks
  • J1 and H1 Visa Accepted

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Neurology
  • BLS, ACLS Certified
  • Must qualify for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
