West Virginia Neurology Job – Commutable from Morgantown

  • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible neurologist
  • Join an established private practice
  • Work with three other neurologists
  • Group is open to those fellowship trained, but you must be willing to see general neurology patients, as well
  • Opportunity to work inpatient only or inpatient/outpatient
  • Traditional practice would be mostly clinic based, but you’d see hospital consults and take call
  • Neurohospitalist job would work inpatient only, Monday-Friday, and take shared call
  • Inpatient sees 25% stroke patients, but they do not do interventions at the hospital
  • Outpatient office is open 8a-5p
  • EEG and EMG are available in the office
  • Clinic is attached to the hospital
  • No APPs, but you’d work alongside six dedicated neurology nurses
  • Clinic uses Greenway EMR
  • Shared 1:4 call
  • You’d start out seeing 10-15 patients per day and eventually to 15-20 after the first year
  • The entire practice sees 5-8 new consults a day
  • Payor mix is 50% Medicaid, 35-40% Medicare, 10-15% private insurance
