This multi-specialty group is looking to add BC/BE Neurologists (general or any sub-specialty) (either adult and/or pediatrics), Neurosurgeons, Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to their established and growing practice. They currently have 5 Board Certified physicians in neurology and psychiatry, they see all ages, pediatric through geriatric and also assess surgical needs. This is the largest medical specialty practice of its kind in the Tampa Bay Region serving eleven hospitals and three counties, they have provided service to two universities as clinical assistant professor to one and attending neurologist and clinical instructor to another. They have been involved in a variety of research, presentations, and pharmaceutical consulting, served on various hospital panels, and have been featured on television, radio, and newspaper. Their physicians and staff work diligently in four friendly local offices striving to accommodate patients in less than one week and even same day. It is unlikely that another neurology position can offer the diverse financial, lifestyle, and academic opportunities available here. They provide in office EEG, EMG-NCV, carotid and other ultrasound imaging including echo, epidurals, lumbar puncture, Botox, nerve blocks and more. You will have the option of reading your own MRI' s, CT' s etc. and bill for them! One or more physician assistants/nurse practitioners are available to assist, see your simple office follow-ups for you, fill forms, take care of call- backs and call-ins, etc., all while bolstering your salary...imagine earning more for less hassles! They also assist with call which will be 1/3 or 1/4 and is very light. If interested in academia or an affiliation, that option also exists. It is your option to conduct private practice only, or to also be involved in research, have medical students rotate with you, staff resident’ s clinics for the Department of Neurology at USF. Develop your practice to your style and desires. They provide the patients, the options, and the know-how. No buy-in fees. Malpractice, health insurance, retirement plan all provided. The types of cases seen include but are not limited to: -Congenital disorders of the brain, spine, peripheral nerves and muscles -Toxic-metabolic disorders of the brain, spine, peripheral nerves and muscles -Encephalitis, meningitis, and other infectious neurological illnesses -Multiple sclerosis -Neurological complications of auto-immune diseases -Head injuries, spine and pain management -Attention deficit and related disorders -Psychiatric and counseling issues -Disorders of sleep -Epilepsy and Seizures -Visual and other sensory impairments -Stroke and Carotid disease -Neuro-Oncology -Dementia and other cognitive/neurodegenerative processes -Parkinson’ s and other movement/balance disorders -MRI, CT, EEG, angiographic, carotid duplex, transcranial Doppler, evoked potential and sleep study interpretation. -In office epidurals, nerve blocks, trigger point injections, Botox and Myobloc, nerve conduction studies, electromyography, electroencephalography, deep brain stimulator programming, cognitive testing, nerve and muscle biopsy, diagnostic and therapeutic Ommaya and lumbar puncture including blood patching
