This national Health System with locations in Birmingham and Mobile, AL is seeking a Board certified/board eligible Neurologist to serve as a Neuro-hospitalist for its hospital in Mobile, AL. Job features include the following.
- Hospital employed position
- CME: 5 days, $5,000
- PTO: 224 hours annually
- Loan repayment available
- Open on fellowship training
- Experienced or new grad
- EEG training preferred
- Willing to sponsor a visa
- Schedule: 7On/7Off
- EMR: Cerner
- See 12 – 16 patients per day
- Tele-neurology out of Pensacola, no need to respond to strokes in ER
- Work schedule amongst selves: flexibility
- Volume of patients is low
- Do not respond to strokes in ER
- Providence hospital has all specialists on staff and respond to consults
- Well trained nursing staff: very appropriate call from nursing staff
