  • The OSF Healthcare Illinois Neurological Institute (OSF INI), a major teaching affiliate of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, seeks a neurologist due to the retirement of a dedicated physician.
  • This is a general neurology position. Subspecialists willing to do general neurology will be considered.
  • The physician will see outpatients at our busy practice with more than 3000 visits annually.
  • Monday through Friday office hours with no call required. This is primarily a consulting position.
  • Full time collaborating neuroscience APN in clinic with teleneurology capability for subspecialties located in Peoria.
  • Neurologist would see approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient.
  • Be a part of our OSF INI group practice, which includes more than 40 neurologists and more than 30 advanced practice providers. Most faculty are fellowship trained. Subspecialties include cognitive neurology, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular, neuro-ophthalmology, neurovestibular, rehabilitation, epilepsy, stroke, headache, and sleep.
  • Friendly patients and caring providers make this a career building practice for the future. The combined primary and secondary market has a population of 197,600 which includes Knox, Warren and Henderson Counties with a population of 82,784. The Secondary Service Area includes Mercer, McDonough, Henry, and Fulton with a population of 114,816.
  • OSF INI, the neurological care provider for downstate Illinois and the surrounding region, provides a full spectrum of adult and pediatric care for illnesses affecting the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerve in a distinctive environment melding research, teaching, and tertiary care medicine. The INI supports well-established, on-site residency training programs in neurology and neurosurgery.
