Hiring Part Time Neurologist

COMPANY OVERVIEW:

MHM Solutions has a rewarding opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join our dynamic team at the Ebensburg Center in Ebensburg, PA. The Ebensburg Center is located about 70 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA. This position is seeking a Neurologist to work about 8 to 16 hours per month. (A minimum of two (2) four-to-six hour sessions are required of the provider each month. ).

In the state of Pennsylvania, MHM Services proudly serves as the statewide mental health provider to the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Philadelphia Prison System (6 county jails), and, the staffing provider to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania including all Pennsylvania state hospitals and other various branches of the Commonwealth.

Position Overview:

• Provide neurological evaluations of individuals of Ebensburg Center as well as consultation with and training of staff regarding neurological disorders and related medical conditions. The majority of the neurological problems will consist of seizure control management.
• Caseload for evaluations will be determined through referrals made by primary care physicians and coordinated and scheduled through the Medical Director and/or Clinical Services Director.
• All initial evaluations include a physical examination of the individual.
• All evaluations require a written summary documented on the Ebensburg Center consultation form at the time the service is provided.
• Contractor will provide phone consultations as required. Length of call will be approximately 15 minutes.

Services are provided on days and times mutually acceptable to the Contractor and the Center and the days may change based on the needs of the individuals as deemed by the primary care physicians.
