A hospital in Ohio is in need of a neurologist who is able to provide locum tenens coverage for approximately six and a half months starting in mid-June with a possible extension. On a typical day, the locum tenens physician can expect to see fifteen patients for a variety of cases: General neuro inpatient, locum must be comfortable writing orders and managing patient care without a resident team plus general neuro inpatient. No procedures. The provider will work on a 7 on 7 off or 14 on 14 off schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the latest. Then provider will be on call every other day to take call from the residents and call center, but will never have to go into the hospital. This facility uses Epic EMR.
