Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385 bed hospital and Comprehensive Stroke Center that serves a catchment area of approximately 700,000 people. We have a great need for stroke trained/experienced Neurohospitalists who are also willing to participate as teaching faculty for our ACGME Neurology Residency program. Your main objectives will be to provide coverage to our Comprehensive Stroke Center and meet our growing community need.   • Employed Foundation model – competitive compensation and benefits
  • Outpatient site adjacent to hospital
  • Each physician will have teaching responsibility (in-house Neurology residents)
  • Stroke neurology experience necessary to support comprehensive stroke center, at minimum Primary Stroke Center experience
  • Neurohospitalists will provide inpatient coverage 24/7 due to comprehensive stroke center
  • Schedule flexibility amongst team

Candidates must be Board Certified in Neurology, Stroke fellowship training highly preferred, experience at a Primary Stroke Center required. Active CA license, or in process preferred. Please send CV for immediate consideration.
