Job Description

The primary focus of the Neurologist is to provide care for patients with common neurological illnesses, as well as providing guidance to other caregivers in an organization with a physician-led culture of care.

Details:

• Full time, permanent position
• Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
• 15-20 patients seen in clinic per day
• Treatment of common neurological illnesses: dementia, memory loss, seizures, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, migraines, dystonia, etc.
• Perform the following preferred procedures: Botox, occipital nerve blocks, and trigger point injections
• Around 80% of patients will be geriatric, no pediatric patients
• A 50/50 mix of new and returning patients
• Call 6-8 days per month, including one weekend
• Read and issue reports on EEG’s and EMG’s
• EMR: Cerner

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
