Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join a team and meet the growing demands for Neurology services 1 hour from Indianapolis. The current practice includes one experienced physician covering both inpatient and outpatient services. Ideal candidate will be seeking a general neurology position with the opportunity to subset specialize in multiple areas.
The candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
• Outpatient clinic Monday - Friday 8a – 5p
o Call Expectation1:2
• Both Inpatient and Outpatient service
o Average outpatient volume: 12 – 18 patients per day
o Average inpatient consult volume: 5 – 12 patients per day
• Inpatient consult coverage 10 days per month
• Common Diagnoses & Procedures
o General neurological disorders
o Nerve conduction studies
o EEG interpretations
o Botox injections
• Onsite Equipment
o EEG
o EMG
• Telestroke services available
