Baptist Health System is seeking a BC/BE neurohospitalist to join our neurosciences team in San Antonio, Texas. The ideal candidate will cultivate a collaborative environment and thrive when providing care in a higher acuity population. Our neuroscience team includes neuroendovascular, outpatient neurology, and fellow neurohospitalist physicians. There is also access to neurosurgery throughout the health system.

Overview:

  • 7 on/7 off schedule
  • Primary responsibility for inpatient neurologic/stroke care and consults
  • Collaborate with general and sub-specialty-trained neurologists system-wide
  • Well-trained support staff including APPs and Stroke Patient Navigators
  • Vascular training is a plus
  • Must be BC/BE in Neurology by ABPN or AOBNP
