What you will need:

  • License: License or license eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Education: Completion of a Neurology Residency Program
  • Certification: Board certified or Board eligible in Neurology
  • Experience: At least two (2) years work experience preferred
  • Work VISA: No work VISA's will be sponsored

What you will do:

This position is located within the Neurology Department, Evanston Hospital campus of NorthShore University HealthSystem. We are looking for a well-trained, compassionate neurologist with a passion for the depth and breadth of neurologic conditions and the care of hospital patients with neurologic disorders. NorthShore University HealthSystem (NorthShore) its affiliates serve a large and diverse patient population; there is strong commitment from affiliated academic institutions (University of Chicago) to support the highest level of care for this diverse and complex patient population. We are seeking an outstanding physician to join our Neurology Service as a neuro-hospitalist focused on a resident-driven inpatient consultation service. The Neurology Team includes 50 providers in various sub-specialties of Neurology with clinic locations along the north shore. Opportunities exist for collaborative or investigator-initiated research. The successful applicant will be expected to maintain and further develop our vigorous inpatient consultation and to teach residents and medical students.
