Neuro Hospitalist locum Physician needed for 2022 for an ongoing locum need. Department is supported by 3 vascular neurologists and a private neuro hospitalists.
- Ideal start date: Now
- Shift times: 8a - 6p (10 hours) Shifts per month: 5-10, 10 hour shifts per month - Support Staff: Neuro ICU MD and NP
- Patient Volume: 7-15 patients per day. 3-5 new consults per day.100% inpatient neuro coverage.
- Patient Population: Adult, no peds
- EMR: Excellian (EPIC) *prior experience w/ this system is preferred but not required
Locum will be responsible for consults and follow-ups. No admits.
- Certifications Required: Board Certification – Neurology
- Certifications Preferred: Neurohospitalist Fellowship would be nice but not an absolute criterion
- Minimum experience required: 1-2 years post-training experience in hospital-based / inpatient work
Pay: Very competitive.
