603-Bed University Hospital Seeks Vascular Neurology Medical Director

We are a 603-bed premier academic medical center seeking the very best to join one of America’s most dynamic public universities. Our university is considered one of the most technologically advanced hospitals in the world and our Neurology program is consistently ranked in the top 10% of the country.

Position:
• 603-bed, tertiary facility—Level I trauma center—Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center
• Only institution in our area using the Apollo® procedure
• Medical Director, run our inpatient service
• Interface with Neurosurgery Department
• Monitor physician extenders
• Personnel management responsibility
• Direct the Vascular Fellowship program
• Help build a national presence
• Clinical researcher and investigator
• Schedule:
• Inpatient: 19.5 weeks spread throughout the entire year
• Outpatient: 32-hour work week—can reduce with research or philanthropic work
• Research: able to conduct projects, clinical trials, and publications
• Academic: oversee residents/fellows
• New, state-of-the-art Neuro-critical care Unit
• Dedicated Vascular Stroke team
• Mobile Stroke Unit and Telemedicine Program
• EMR: Cerner
• Call: Split between providers

Financials:
• Competitive Salary—commensurate with experience and fair market value
