Seeking an experienced Neurohospitalist to join a hospital based stroke neurology service in eastern North Carolina. Applicants should be board eligible or board certified in neurology. Candidates with vascular neurology or experience treating stroke patients are preferred. Fellowship training is not required.
• Employed position
• Hospital privileges at a 974-bed level 1 trauma center
• 100% inpatient
• Day time and nocturnist positions available
• 7 on 7 off schedule or 14 consecutive
• Consultative service
• 16-bed NSICU unit
• 1200 stroke admissions annually
• Comprehensive stroke center certification in progress
• Neurointensivist support
• Inpatient Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant support
• Comprehensive Benefit Package

Located 45 miles east of I-95 and just over an hour from Raleigh, Oriental (the sailing capital of NC) and the Atlantic Ocean.
