Full time need for Vascular Neurologist in Oregon. Procedures required are Lumbar punctures, Thrombolytic therapy, Brain death exams.
Annual Stroke volumes (on past 12 month rolling count) between the two hospitals is 1,025 and 190 hemorrhage patients. About 2,000 Telestroke patients per year between the 22 hospitals utilizing the Telestroke System (Oregon and SW Washington). The Medical Center has a 12 bed Neurocritical Care Unit.
